Paul Gastaldy (c. 1885–1960) was a French photographer, writer, and publisher, active during the 1920s and 1930s, primarily working in French Indochina (present-day Vietnam). He operated a photography studio in Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City) and maintained close connections with the French School of the Far East (École française d'Extrême-Orient) and the Trocadéro Museum (Musée du Trocadéro).

Gastaldy participated in numerous cultural research missions, producing extensive photographic documentation of Indochina, Siam (now Thailand), and Burma. He frequently used glass plate wet photography, creating works with a distinctive and evocative style, covering subjects such as Angkor Wat, Bangkok, local ethnic communities, and hospitals in Indochina. He also paid close attention to the lives of ordinary people, and his works often reflect a strong pictorialist aesthetic. Gastaldy was one of the most important artistic photographers in Asia during the Republican period of China, and his works are held in the collections of museums and art institutions in multiple countries.
